About the Test
What is TOEFL iBT?
The Test of English as a Foreign Language, internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT) measures academic English the way university study actually uses it: reading a passage, hearing a lecture, then speaking or writing about both.
It is scored from 0 to 120 and accepted by more than 12,000 institutions worldwide, with particular strength among universities in the United States and Canada. The whole test is completed on a computer, including speaking into a microphone.
