What this track covers

Teaching children English is one of the most rewarding corners of the profession, and one of the most demanding. Young learners do not sit through lectures, they learn through play, stories, rhythm and repetition, and they need a teacher who can hold attention while quietly building real language.

This track prepares you for exactly that. You will learn child-centred methodologies, how to teach phonics, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar in age-appropriate ways, and how to manage a classroom of energetic learners without losing the lesson.

From kindergarten phonics to Grade 12 exam support, you will finish ready to plan, deliver and assess lessons that children genuinely enjoy.
